Complesso Nebulare della Iris (Final Version)

Affascinante nebulosa a riflessione, la Iris (ngc7023) si trova nel complesso nebulare del Cefeo. Inizialmente venne catalogata con la sigla CR pensando si trattasse di un ammasso stellare. Da cieli bui è visibile anche con un binocolo. La regione è ricca di stelle in formazione e la inquadratura comprende sulla destra i cosiddetti fantasmini (Sh2/136 / VdB141). Ripresa a metà giugno in maremma toscana con Reflex Full Frame ed Apo Fsq 106/530 66 scatti da 480” ad 800 Iso.

Fascinating reflection nebula, Iris is in the nebular complex of the Cefeo. In the beginning it was cataloged with the initials CR, thinking it was a star cluster. From dark skies it is also visible with binoculars. The region is full of stars in formation and the frame includes the so-called little ghosts on the right. Taken in mid-June in the Tuscan Maremma with Reflex full frame. 66*480” Iso 800.
